NEW DELHI, APRIL 28 (ENA) Rohan Gupta of Lucknow's Montessori School Gomti Nagar branch has secured AIR 43 in JEE Main 2017 with a score of 328/360. His parents were delighted to learn this on Thursday. It was a nostalgic moment for them.

The proud father was extremely happy with the performance of his son which was far better than what he did in his own time. He is pretty much confident that Rohan will do well in JEE Advanced as well, mentioning that Rohan has always taken his studies seriously.

Rohan had joined FIIT-JEE coaching centre in Class 11 with an aim to pursue studies in the field of computer science, just like his father. He believes that a lot of creativity is involved in it. Toying with the computers has been his childhood hobby. He completed his class 10 from La Martineire College and then did his senior secondary qualification from the CMS Gomti Nagar branch.

Rohan's mother, Anamika who works at the community health centre in Lucknow revealed that his son has also cleared Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY), an on-going National Programme of Fellowship in Basic Sciences which is initiated and also funded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, to attract focused students for pursuing basic science courses and a career in research sciences.
